4) Queen West Arts!Artist Liz Pead, takes a group of eight on a gallery crawl through the wilds of Queen West-West. Ideally your tour is in September with the kick-off of the fall exhibition season, but if you prefer a trudge through the snow, we can arrange a time that suits your posse. After visiting some of the best and the brightest Toronto has to offer, the group gathers at Liz's Studio in a secret location near the Gladstone for a nightcap and victuals. Liz Pead grew up in New Brunswick with water and trees but somehow landed in Toronto just before Y2K. The world DIDN'T melt down so she realized her life-long dream of playing hockey. Armed with an obsession for the Group of Seven and the great game of hockey, she explores ideas of Canadian identity and the sites that we use to form it. Liz graduates this year from OCAD as the Medal Winner in Drawing and Painting. She lives in the into Toronto's Annex neighbourhood with her husband and son.
